Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage the commercial and financial aspects of construction projects in Qatar. The role involves cost control, contract administration, valuations, and financial reporting to ensure projects are delivered within budget and contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and cost forecasts
• Monitor project costs, commitments, and expenditures
• Manage variations, claims, and change orders
• Administer contracts in accordance with FIDIC conditions
• Prepare interim valuations and certify subcontractor payments
• Track project progress and assess cost and time impacts
• Support preparation of EOTs and cost-related claims
• Produce monthly cost reports and cash flow forecasts
• Assist in final account preparation and close-out
• Coordinate with project managers, consultants, and subcontractors

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field
• 5–10 years experience in construction projects
• Prior experience in Qatar or GCC preferred
• Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts
• Proficient in MS Excel; planning software knowledge is an advantage
• Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills
